Third Dimensional Painty Fish from Brazil
The paint use on this yellow card is raised...three dimensional . I received this school of fish from Sidney Tome in San Paulo, Brazil...(or Brasil.) The bright colors make me happy.
Food Tin/Can Label: Guido Vermeulen - "Chancellor Tuna"

This is a variation on my theme of using a food label as the canvas for a fish image...the colors are soothing like the sea...and the texted paper reminds me of sailboats...the image is printed on a number 10 envelope sized card. Thanks Guido, its beautiful.

Another fish image email from Guido Vermeulen...
The emailed image file is entitled "The Age of Love", Guido uses this as a logo for his Friour publications.I like the way the plant fronds are framing the fishy couple....
Food Label: Anne Braunschweig

Anne from Corrales, New Mexico sent this Salmon label collage on a post card. There is no FISH image on the back of the card...just more label...I guess the fish image is the salmon tacos??! The circle frames are an interesting graphical device each circle its own composition... The reddish fluid shapes at the top of the image are actually holes punched in the card....I put a reddish or salmon colored paper behind the card when I scanned it.

Agean sea...

I just received these from Thomai Kontou from Elassona, Greece. The blue monochrome fish are painted on mat board and the shell image is from Thomai's printed calandar. I love the shell ...I can almost feel the ridges. The paper boats are whimsical..they make me smile.
