Food Label : Faith Heisler

Faith Heisler of Edison, New Jersey sent me this ghostly blue fish in what I thought at first was a rubbing but from her note it is a cutout from the plastic label from a springwater bottle which was ironed... melting the image on the card. The collage is made up of more labels which Faith provided a diagram key from whence they came...{I'm not sure if I have the collage the right way up to match the key or if it doesn't matter either way...)

Turtles...honus from Hawaii

I received this ATC for my birthday from Honolulu, Hawaii from Kammie Hung. Kammie told me that coconut trees are plentiful and tree trimmers have to remove the coconuts in public places so they won't fall on people. She also told me that the turtle or honu is popular in Hawaiian legends. Honus are protectors against sharks, etc when you are in or on the ocean. Two happy honus...Thanks Kammie. Aloha...
